Situation
The Russian controlled island of Sahrani is suspected to be a key testing site for Russia's hypersonic missile program. Recent satellite imagery and intercepted communications indicate significant activity consistent with advanced weapons research and development. Russia's advances in hypersonic missile technology pose a significant strategic threat to international security. These missiles, capable of speeds exceeding Mach 5, with unpredictable flight paths and the ability to evade existing defense systems, represent a new frontier in modern warfare. It is imperative to gain intelligence on the status and capabilities of Russia's hypersonic missile program.
Mission
Operation Hypersonic Tide will involve a covert infiltration of Sahrani Island by special operations forces. The team will be inserted via boat, teams will conduct a night-time insertion to avoid detection by Russian surveillance systems. Once on the ground, teams will employ a combination of reconnaissance drones, electronic surveillance, and human intelligence to gather data on the hypersonic missile program. Priority targets include research facilities, test sites, and command centers. Gaining access to Russian research facilities and data on hypersonic missiles will provide invaluable insights into their technological advancements, design specifications, and potential vulnerabilities. This intelligence will enhance our own research and development efforts, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in emerging weapon systems. Following the successful collection of intelligence, teams will execute a rapid exfiltration from the island using pre-designated extraction points and escape routes. Counter-surveillance measures will be employed to evade detection by Russian security forces.
