Backstory

Korsac 2010 (greater sea region)
After a lot of public discontent and civilian uprising, the Korsac Government has finally gave in to hold the first official election on the 18th of December, however after the voting there was a strange overwhelming victory for the totalitarian old government, as civilians expected tampering mass riots broke out with multiple groups taking up arms and overthrowing the government.

Although most of the country had quickly replaced the government after the riots with a more populist party, and mostly stabilised apart from some remaining scuffles here and there, a large area around the area of Rostock got taken over by extremists demanding their party to become leader, they then by sheer military power quickly expanded their area.

The Un was called to intervene, with the area around and north of rostock being protected by the Russian UN forces, and the south by British and Polish UN forces, with american Forces holding the far west of the Korsac Region, their main mission was re-establishing the populist party as the government, and holding new fair elections overseen by the UN after stabilising the area.

Balakovo, Russia
January 26th 2012

A nuclear disaster has stuck at the powerplant inBalakovo, although the damage to the terrain is immense, there has been reports of very minimal lifeloss, as the powerplan is inside a city these numbers seem weird, very little is known about this disaster to western authorities and spies, but it does seems Russian representatives in the UN have been growing restless ever since..

Korsak
February 3rd 2012

Russian forces have suddenly pulled back out of the area originally under their protection under UN peacekeeping operations, 14 hours later, The Russian president Vladimir Putin has officially announced its leave from the UN council and forgo of all duties except the forces currently deployed in Eastern Africa under pressure of American sanctions.

After their leave insurgents quickly emerged seeming to be the very same insurgents Russian forces so called ‘’drove ou’’t of the area, they also seem to be equipped with more modern weapons and using older russian vehicles and artillery even, immediately calling for the creation of their own nation.

Because of this a ceasefire was quickly called to negotiate with remaining UN forces on the 14th of February, trying to find a way to end any further bloodshed.

February 23rd

After getting multiple reports of the insurgents neglecting human rights and proof of mass graves of innocent civilians, including western reporters confirmed to be executed UN has been forced to act, plans are being drafted to sweep the insurgents away and re-establish the populist government for good, so the population can stop living in fear.

Today's Mission

Operations have been planned in secret to be able to surprise the insurgents, under the disguise of continuing peace talks and moving at night we hope to take the enemy by surprise and destroy an old Russian FOB in one fell swoop to severely limit their capabilities in the area, before destroying their main Communication array.
Afterwards we are to liberate cities, optionally the factory to, destroy enemy assets and depots to gather a foothold around the airfield.

An entire polish motorised platoon, including

  • A scout attachment (BRDM-2 m97 Zbik)

Furthermore we have been given access to some fancy new SPIKE launcher systems for combat testing.

Vehicle assets
  • 2 Tumak UKM
  • 1 Tumak WKM
  • 3 Tumak Unarmed
  • Infinite star 1466 trucks
SOME ACT AS RESPAWN VEHICLES AS WELL

Enemies

Enemies will do anything in their power to keep control over the region, they have been very radicalised and love to show their power, their morale seems to be high, although their military training is somewhat lacklustre.

Enemy assets
  • Enemies are expected to have a lot of troops and many are dug in on old russian lines, as well as hidden within villages
  • Enemy forces are expected to have a wide variety of lighter vehicles (up to btr’s) mainly left behind or bought russian equipment
  • There are reports of a small amount of IFV’s used by insurgent forces
  • There are a small number of civilian and military transport helicopters reported
  • Enemies seemed to be equipped with a lot of low tech AT weapons as well as getting support from an unknown country for their small arms
  • Enemies are only lightly trained
  • Expect Russian air reinforcements later in the mission

Enemies should be unaware until our first engagement, use that to destroy their heavily fortified HQ first.
Environment
  • We are leaving early to use the darkness to our advantage, however it should start to become light when we arrive at our first objective (Night Vision Goggles are optional for the first 10 minutes)
  • civilians should be in their shelters, you are free to fire explosives on any non civilian infrastructure (so watch with explosives around houses, churches hospitals etc. but factories and barns are free to explode)

Map of all objectives

Extra notes/tips

It is okay if we do not finish all objectives at once.

All objectives work with triggers so please do not try and activate all at once for lag reasons.

Objective 1 and 2 can be quite tough without mortar support, however most other Objectives should be doable with even 1 squad meaning u can split.

Keep an eye on chat or for documents, some AI may say some interesting things, this is mostly optional but it can help you from time to time.

There are 2 sets of 2 objectives nearly next to each other, i advise to clear those out fully before moving to the next objective

There might be some smaller lag spikes when an objective loads, this should not take longer than .2 seconds, but watch your spacing when driving.
