Recently mercenaries hired by the Angolan government have crossed the Namibian border and took over villages of Chihiti and Bimbi possibly taking some residents hostage and forcing the rest to flee. While UN lost their minds making us leave the border to deescalate the possible conflict the mercenaries made another insertion taking it too far this time. The British government cannot take any more of this and have decided that a military retaliation is in order.

MI6 have provided us with quite extraordinary intel gentleman. We are aware of the Soviets supplying Angolia with weapons and equipment yet quite recently they have also started sending in advisors and pilots to train the local military and commanding mercenaries. The Intel we have received suggests that most of the Soviet advisors in Angola are to train the local infantry battalion in the Niakala region with their HQ being in Shwasana. That town may be a gold mine for our guys at MI5, the government is aware of it too and Angola just gave us an excuse for an invasion.

Our force will consist of 2 groups – Mechanized and Airborne + support CAS. The task of the Mechanized element is to secure villages taken over by Angolan mercenaries and rescue the remaining civilian population, eliminate a heavily guarded border checkpoint, find & destroy enemy armour and anti-air equipment in the town of Pala and take over a lightly defended village of Kahaki (in any order). You will then have a clear path to Shwasana where you are to head next to reinforce the Airborne element.

The task of the Airborne element is to fly into the town of Shwasana, find valuable intel and if possible, arrest Soviet advisors. There is a heavy artillery battery nearby that needs to be destroyed as soon as possible as it can target the Mechanized element. Once both tasks are complete you are to dig in and await the arrival of the Mechanized element. The Angolan response will be slow but once they get the word of what is going on they will send everything they have.

Once Mechanized element will arrive you are to retreat over the border. We believe that once the assault over Shwasana begins the remaining Soviet advisors that are in the area will try to retake it even before they receive larger reinforcements. MI5 has informed us about an undermanned Angolan tank company and anti-air battery so be aware of those. God Save the Queen
